Twenty years ago, Rose founded us on a simple idea: an equipment company that didn't just sell products, but stood behind them—with real training, real education, and real people who picked up the phone. That promise is still our foundation today.
We're entering an exciting new chapter as a family-owned and operated business. Hope and Jason Hernandez, Rose's daughter and son-in-law, have taken ownership, with Rose continuing on as Founder.
Together, we're carrying forward what was built with intention—committed to the people at the center of our business and the driving focus of keeping sedation safe, simple, and effective.
This isn't a company changing hands; it's a family building on what's already strong. The same uncompromising customer service, hands-on training, and genuine relationships that got us here aren't going anywhere. We're still the partner you can count on before, during, and after every case.

2006 — Founded
Rose Dodson establishes Sedation Resource with a singular mission: partnering with healthcare professionals through superior equipment and service.
2010–2018 — Growth & Expansion
Expanded product offerings and built strategic relationships with major distributors nationwide.
2013 — Edan Partnership
Established partnership with Edan Diagnostics to become the master distributor for Edan monitors in the dental market.
2024 — Second Generation
Hope Hernandez (President) and Jason Hernandez (CEO) step into leadership, continuing Rose's legacy and guiding Sedation Resource into its next generation as a family business.
2026 — 20 Years Strong

WHAT WE DO
Our sole focus is sedation. We are a trusted source of information about sedation equipment and supplies and sell products exclusively to dental and medical professionals. Our expertise will make sedation in your office simple, safe, and effective.
We constantly audit nationwide courses that provide the most current information on sedation techniques, safety guidelines or rules and regulations. These courses spark ideas for new products to simplify sedation and ensure safety in your everyday practice.
Our experience has taught us that well-meaning medical suppliers often do not have a good understanding of the equipment specific to your needs. Therefore, when you call to order BASIC equipment you end up getting way more than you need, and spending more than you should.
You can expect great service and excellent communication from our team. While we are not perfect, if there is a problem we'll make every effort to produce a favorable outcome. Come to us with your questions. If we can't answer them, we'll refer you to someone who can.
