AirLife™ has updated the design of the SunMed® Endotracheal Tubes to better meet clinician needs. There is a slight difference in appearance, but the form, fit, and function of the device remain the same. The changes will be implemented on a rolling basis, starting March 2026. The updated product will replace existing inventory as current stock is depleted.
Updated Features (see comparison image above):
- The standard bevel-cut tip has been updated to a bull-nose tip.
- The depth markings have been updated to show deeper measurements and are now shown every centimeter.
- Neonatal sized tubes have drastically improved printing with lower depth markings.
